Sales Manager Position Overview 
Join our forward-thinking team in the digital print industry, where your primary mission as the Sales Manager is to lead a high-performance sales team in achieving continuous revenue growth, exceeding client expectations, and driving overall success. You'll be at the forefront of our high-performance culture, where your role involves skills development, coaching, collaboration, and fostering open communication with team members, peers, and clients.

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring, retaining, and expanding business in both new and existing accounts, with your focus squarely on driving revenue growth and ensuring client satisfaction. Your leadership will impact a dedicated group of 15-20 sales professionals, where you'll play a pivotal role in hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining top talent. Furthermore, your responsibilities extend to engaging and building strong relationships with C-level clients while working cross-functionally across the organization to achieve our ambitious business goals. Responsibilities include: 
  • Revenue and Client Satisfaction:
  • Drive the achievement of team revenue, profit, and expense objectives, with a laser focus on digital transformation solutions that propel our clients forward.
  • Elevate client satisfaction to new heights by nurturing and expanding C-level client relationships, crafting strategic account plans, and instilling a disciplined client communications process within the team.
  • Sales Team Leadership and Development:
  • Foster and sustain a high-performance sales team by proactively selecting, hiring, onboarding, developing, coaching, and motivating team members to embrace innovative solutions. Lead the way in crafting cutting-edge sales strategies, from identifying transformational opportunities to delivering persuasive presentations, strategic negotiations, resource allocation, coaching, and cultivating a culture of continuous best practice sharing.
  • Communication and Alignment:
  • Interpret and effectively communicate Xerox's corporate and local direction, strategies, actions, and expectations within the context of the dynamic digital landscape.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making:
  • Analyze and translate performance metrics and data into actionable insights, enabling timely and informed decision-making to drive business actionable insights.
  • Performance Management and Collaboration:
  • Champion performance management through meticulous inspection and coaching, addressing performance concerns, and implementing performance development interventions, when necessary, all while fostering robust relationships.
  • Collaborate seamlessly across the organization and stakeholders to empower high-performance results and strategic growth. 
  • Sales Process Excellence:
  • Promote sales process discipline, underpinned by data-driven decision-making and innovative thinking, by setting expectations, conducting thorough analysis, and harnessing the power of sales and performance analytics.

What You Need to Succeed:
  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Preferred)
  • 4-6 years of outstanding sales and marketing achievements, consistently exceeding targets
  • Previous experience in people management is a strong asset.
  • Sales Management and Leadership:
  • Proven track record of successful sales management experience with a strong foundation in sales and consulting
  • Exceptional business acumen, including enterprise-level acumen, with demonstrated team leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and consistently achieve targets.
  • Thrives under pressure and adapts to dynamic environments.
  • Proven experience in sales and consulting, emphasizing the ability to drive results.
  • Strategic relationship-building skills with a talent for cultivating key decision-maker relationships.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: 
  • Outstanding presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of presenting to high-level leadership with impactful business results and strategic action plans
  • Innovative Thinking and Technical Proficiency:
  • Innovative and creative thinking when developing solutions.
  • Proficient in technical product knowledge
  • Exceptional technology expertise with competence in technology hardware and services sales
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, CRM tools, data analysis, and business management reporting
  • Planning and Organizational Skills:
  • Strong planning, organizing, and communication abilities.
  • Industry Knowledge and Adaptability:
  • Knowledge of print industry competitive solutions and industry digital trends is advantageous.
